You are allowed to use the outputs of searches with major search engines that may give you AI-generated results, including Google's "AI Overview" and Bing's "AI Generated" search results.
You are not allowed to use any form of AI search that allows you to go back and forth with the tool, such as using chatGPT directly, or via plugins. You must continue to follow the rules regarding collaboration and AI here in the syllabus: how exams work.
Note: while these tools may be useful, we recommend against relying on them, or making them a core part of your test-taking strategy. Treat the results from them the same way you'd treat a random Stackoverflow answer. It may not interpret your question correctly, it may be missing some context, or for some other unknown reason it just may be wrong.
